MARSHALL
jOHNSON
Marshall Lysander Johnson, born in Bellingham, Washington, is a graduate of the University of Washington and the Art Center College in Los Angeles.
Johnson's background is a combination of fine art and design.
The Northwest scene is Johnson's main interest, and he leans heavily on nautical subject matter.
While attending college, he did some commercial fishing aboard a purse seiner in the San Juan Islands, and he sails his own boat in Puget Sound waters.
These experiences serve as a resource for his many marine scenes.
