JUDY HORN

Judy Horn is an award winning artist who lives in NE Tacoma, Washington. After high school, she enrolled in the Fine Arts School at the University of Washington and began her intensive formal training. Later, training continued at Weber State college in Ogden Utah. It was at Weber State that Judy discovered the computer as an art tool and began using the electronic element as a component for her completed images. Horn's unique process has been developed over several years and combines the uses of technology and photography with her traditional skills in watercolor and oil painting.

Judy's images are vibrant and call attention to detail. Many images recall the Northwest life of the artist, liking the outdoors and forests, trees and landscapes are favorite subjects as well as maritime themes.

Art Concepts on Broadway has featured Horn's work for the past seven years. This artist is especially adept at special commissioned work, tailoring an image to the desires of the client.
